Wow, I am turning out to be really bad at this blogging thing! Since the last time I posted I have had quite a few adventures. A trip to San Francisco and Napa Valley to spend time with friends (and stock up on American candy and craft supplies), a trip to Prague (to stock up on cheap beer and sunshine), and a trip to Turkey.
While I was traveling, I took a lot of picture of inspiring typography for a project I've been working on for my MA. The ones I have posted today are from a little closer to home, London, and don't have any type in them, but I used them for a little Zine I made about type in London. I had a lot of fun playing with photoshop to get just the right coloring. I found a great tutorial here and then added a couple of additional filters to get the look I wanted.
